I qualified in South Africa in 1995. After graduating, I initially worked in Gold Mine hospitals for 6 years and following this I moved to the UK. Here I have years of diversified clinical experience in community and acute settings within both Paediatrics and Adult Services in the NHS and Private Sectors.
I have additional training and experience in Sensory Integration, Therapeutic Listening, developmental delays, ADHD, Dyspraxia, Dyslexia, Autism, Educational, Health and Care Plans (EHCP) in mainstream and special schools, upper limb/hand splinting, specialist seating and postural management and management in acute hospitals.
I particularly enjoy working with children with rare chromosomal disorders and abnormalities and seeing them achieve their full potential.
I enjoy working hands on with clients and being able to help them achieve potential positive steps in leading the best quality of life.
I see clients at the clinic, schools, homes and other specialist settings. I provide initial assessments, interviews and I use a client centred approach to determine the best way to help client achieve their goals and optimal daily function.
My aim is to improve you and/or your child's skills effectively, helping you to achieve your goals.
Each session assures that you and/or your child enhance your skills each time you attend, allowing you and others to see the difference.
